Touchstone Business Advisors in 2003. He operates out of offices in Golden.
Prior to forming
Touchstone Business Advisors, Mr. Spickert held President, CEO, COO, VP of Marketing and Product Management positions with companies in the education, healthcare, Internet/e-commerce, manufacturing, publishing and real estate sectors. He has served as a Director of public, non-profit and private companies. He presently serves on the Boards of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI) and RVision Corporation, a private multimedia health education company. He formerly served on the Boards of Online System Services, Inc., Medical Education Collaborative, Inc., Jobson Publishing, LLC and as a Trustee of Colorado Academy, a private K-12 school. Charlie is also a founder and active member of The Margarita Group, a Colorado-based Angel investment group.
Mr. Spickert holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard College, as well as Master's degrees in Microbiology and Public Health from Harvard University and University of Hawaii, Schools of Public Health, respectively. He also holds a Colorado Real Estate Employing Broker's license and is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and President of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI). Mr. Spickert holds the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the IBBA.
Rich Bevelhimer, CPA, MBA - Broker Associate/Highlands RanchMr. Bevelhimer has accumulated a wide range of skills and experiences over the past 25 years in both small and large businesses. Rich joined
Touchstone Business Advisors in 2009. He operates out of offices in Highlands Ranch.
During and immediately after college, he worked as comptroller for a self-made millionaire in the midwest. This unique experience allowed Rich to learn directly from a briliant entrepreneur as he managed his small business empire comprised of 5 small businesses. After passing his CPA examination and earning an MBA, Rich moved on to Conseco, where he was able to learn and expand his experience as another entrepreneur built two small insurance companies into a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company. During this time, Rich worked in various roles dealing with mergers, aacquisitions and divestitures of several insurance and financial services companies. In addition, he was charged with ensuring the successful assimilation and growth of the acquired companies.
At this point Rich, along with a partner, started a national wholesale company which grew to $35 million in sales. Over the last 9 years, Mr. Bevelhimer focused on assisting small financial service companies grow their profitability through expanding product offerings and marketing strategies. Rich holds a B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Butler University. He holds a CPA certificate (AZ) and a Colorado Real Estate license.
